I'm Paramith Kavisha, a Software Engineering undergraduate at the University of Westminster (IIT Sri Lanka), passionate about creating software that makes a real difference.

With experience spanning Java backend development, REST APIs, database design, and full-stack web applications, I enjoy working across the entire development stack.

I'm currently working as a Software Developer at Prime Engineering Lanka Pvt Ltd, applying my technical skills in a professional environment while continuing to build and ship personal projects.

Built PulseNews, a multi-category blog/news site using vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — no frameworks — as a core internship deliverable.

Managed the project end-to-end through version control, resolving authentication issues to ship the final build to GitHub.

TECHNICAL ASSESSMENT

Built a full-stack recruitment pipeline application with React 18 and Node.js/Express under a fixed time constraint.

Delivered the completed submission via GitHub and Google Drive per the assessment brief.

Full-stack billing system with a Spring Boot REST API backend on Railway and a Next.js frontend on Vercel. JWT authentication with role-based access control (admin/staff) and bcrypt password hashing.

5-member Agile team project (SDGP). Designed and built the Lost & Found module end-to-end with 8+ REST API endpoints, following layered Controller–Service–Repository architecture.

Random Forest Regression model trained on synthetic Sri Lankan food price records, served via a FastAPI REST API with a web UI for real-time predictions by category, city, and season.
